Shannon is a fourth-year Biochemistry major with a minor in Mathematics and is the Co-President of Queen's Dance District. Shannon began dancing at the age of four and hasn't stopped since. She loves everything about dance - the movement, the creativity, the environment, and the family that comes along with it. Shannon is absolutely thrilled to be a part of this team once again to help unite the dance community at Queen's so that we can all do what we do best.

Elysse Chennette is one of the Co-Presidents for Dance District this year. She is currently in her fourth year of Physical and Health Education at Queen’s. She has been dancing her entire life, predominantly in ballet but she loves to try new styles. She believes everyone should be given the opportunity to feel at home with dance, which is why she is super excited to see what this 10th year of Dance District will bring.

Sarah Burtch is a fourth-year Queen’s student studying English Literature and Drama. She is QDD’s Marketing and Publications director. Sarah has been dancing for 17 years and teaching and choreographing for 8, both in her community and at Queen’s. Dance has always been a hugely integral part of her life and identity and it makes her feel powerful, creative and free. It’s one of the only things in the world that can give her goosebumps or make her heart want to burst out of her chest.

Kyra is a second-year LLCU student, minoring in DEVS. She is our Sponsorship director this year. For Kyra, dance is a way of expression. It is a way to spread love, happiness, and bring people together.

Matthew Bentley holds the position as Merchandise Exec this year. He is in 4th year Life Science at Queen’s. Although he is new to dance, his experience with it so far has been terrific. He loves learning about all the different styles and everyone in the dance community has been so welcoming to him. It has challenged him to move out of his comfort zone and helped him grow as a person. He looks forward to many more years and many more styles of dance.

Quinn Bernholtz is a 4th year Psychology and Sociology Medial here at Queen’s.  She is part of the logistic teams for Queen’s Dance District. For Quinn, dance is a necessity. It allows her to live in the present moment, to appreciate everything, and has the ability to make her smile bigger than anything else can. Dance has shaped her into the person she is today.

Holly Lorezon is a third year English major and DEVS minor at Queen’s University. Her role with QDD is to be a logistics director alongside her co, Quinn Bernholtz. Dance has been her means of expression and exploration for many years, which is why she was inspired to work with a team dedicated to uniting all dance and cultural societies on campus through our love for this artform.

Sabrina Brodkorb is in 4th year at Queen’s and her program is nursing. She is one of our Co-Social Directors. Dance allows Sabrina to express herself in an artistic and creative way!

Ember J. Midnighter is a second year Queen's student studying Economics. Ember loves dancing and his favourite style is poppin'. Part of Ember's mentality about dance is "why not? If you love it, do it!"
